Plants We Grow
|
Texas Mountain Laurel (Dermatophyllum secundiflorum, formerly Sophora secundiflora): The primary plant we grow, and hence the name "TML", we specialize in growing small container Texas Mountain Laurels which were grown in "tall" pots from day 1. Our standard small container for sale is a 4x12 inch pot which accommodates the long tap root. The 4x12 container is approximately 0.6 gallon, roughly equivalent to a standard #1, but of course friendlier to the plant. Our experience is that when properly planted, a longer (stronger) tap root most certainly increases the plant's chances of survival.

Mexican Buckeye (Ungnadia speciosa): Another plant with a durable set of roots, we fell in love with this one before we even knew what it was. The early pink flowers caught our eye in the spring, and the odd seed pods piqued our interest later on. We also offer for sell the Mexican Buckeye in the 4x12 tall pots.
